VILLAGE PLAN 19TH APRIL
THE LAUNCH OF THE VILLAGE PLAN TAKES PLACE ON MONDAY EVENING AT 6-30PM.
THIS IS YOUR CHANCE TO SEE THE PLAN AND HELP US DECIDE WHAT WE DO NEXT.
IN ATTENDANCE WILL BE YOUR PARISH COUNCILLORS AND MEMBERS OF THE LOCAL AUTHORITY
seems I get my info from the
seems I get my info from the Northern Echo these days regarding Bearpark

I was told that a copy of the Village Plan would be uploaded to the site, which would have been ideal for those could not make the meeting at the community centre (myself included)
Village Plan
Gary, I'm not sure what you mean?
For the village plan to be uploaded on to this website it would have to be agreed by the Parish Council and we have not had a formal request to do so. Also who are you suggesting is going to do it? All Parish Council correspondence is dealt with by our Parish Clerk, who, has quite a job on her hands and to upload the document would take quite some time.
I am sure you recieved an invitation to the village plan launch event which clearly stated that in the event of you not being able to attend you could send back the invitation with your details and the Clerk would make arrangements for a copy to be sent to you.
As for the Echo are you suggesting that we shouldn't advertise what is happening in Bearpark?
Marion Wilson
so I intended to go to the
so I intended to go to the Village Plan launch, but was unable to at the last minute and I don't have an invite.
No one's suggesting that advertising in the echo is a bad thing, I had just hoped that my local parish council would support thier local website as well as going for the big story.
how many people in Bearpark read the Echo?
how many people in Bearpark read Bearpark-Online?
I'm not trying to cause trouble here, I'm just so very disappointed, it seems this is very much a one way thing. I was asked if pictures from my site could be used by Kevin and asked if the plan would be uploaded to the site in return. Even yourself Marion, asked me for printed pictures, which I supplied although they were never returned. 10 years I've been running this site for the community of Bearpark, asking for nothing, giving all the time, but I'm obviously not allowed to ask for anything.
I'm begining to suspect that this is related to the sign in my window
Okay lets take this step by
Okay lets take this step by step!
Everyone in the village should of had an invite,1000 copies were printed and delivered . If you haven't had one then I can only apologise and say that I don't know why you didn't get one.
There has been no suggestion ever that the Parish Council does not support your website.
As for the story in the Echo that was after the event, I did advertise the event on your website.
How many people in Bearpark read the Echo? I don't know.
How many people read Bearpark-Online? I don't know.
What I do know is that the story put Bearpark on the map for a day throughout the north-east.
The Plan will be sent to you in time as I've tried to explain our Clerk has a lot of correspondence and other administration regarding the parish to deal with and sending the plan to you will be done when her time allows.
Your photos will be returned, again I apologise that was my mistake for not getting around to returning them although we ahve used them quite a lot.
As for the sign in your window, I can only assume you mean a political advertisment as I haven't been past your house for a while, all I can say to that is your fully entitled to put in your window anything you want that's your right , to say that I'm being awkward because of it is silly, you were the one who posted the sarcastic comments instead of either contacting me or the clerk to ask for a copy of the plan.
As I have said previously a copy will be sent to you in due course.
I can't do better than that.
I hope this helps.
Dear Bearpark I'll consider
Dear Bearpark
I'll consider myself well and truely fobbed off by the parish council now like, 2 weeks and still no responce from Lyndsey and still no Village Plan.
So yes lets take it step by step
I've requested a copy from Lyndsey, over 2 weeks ago, she's obviously too busy to make copies and to distribute them, so uploading it to the site where the residents of Bearpark can help themselves to copies of the document would obviously help a great deal.
However Marion has taken it upon herself to be the spokesman for Lyndsey and has provided her with the 'needs converting to .pdf' excuse and the 'she's very busy' excuse, yet these excuses seem to me to be invalid as uploading the document to the site would save lots of time and saving to PDF format takes no time at all.
regards
Gary Taylor (serving the community of Bearpark)
once I learned I needed to
just so that this makes sence, here's a screen shot of what was said on Facebook
once I learned I needed to contact the parish clerk, all I wanted was her address. You said it was on the parish notice board. Can you confirm for me is this the notice board outside St Edmunds Church?
Excuse my ignorance but
Excuse my ignorance but what's a screen shot?????????????????
Yes it is on the notice board in the church yard,
Please understand I can't post her address on this site (without her permission)
I can e-mail it to you if you prefer.
You will receive a pdf copy when she has time to format it .
Marion
what format is it in now?
what format is it in now? Word.doc?
It don't take but a minute or two to save as a pdf from word.doc files.
I could do the formatting for you.
Not sure , not that
Not sure , not that technically minded!
You have her e-mail address it would be best if you ask Lindsay.
Sorry can't be of more help.
screen shot means - 'a
screen shot means - 'a picture of a computer screen' in this case while looking at Facebook
The parish clerk's address has already been made public in your flyers (really wish I hadn't lost mine now) and is available on the parish notice board (the public domain), posting it on here, simply saves me walking down to the church. Pleased it's not this time last year as I wouldn't have been able to do that.
what's the address then?
what's the address then?
